In 2009 Amanda Thorp joined Susan at Whitaker Firth. Amanda qualified as a solicitor in 1984. Following a break in her career whilst her two children were small Amanda now specialises in Private Client Law. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly.

Susan and Amanda hold advice sessions at the Bradford branch of Age Concern. Susan will give talks to groups by appointment. No charge is made for this service.
