Susan Wright is the Partner in charge of the Private Client Department. Following graduation in law Susan went on to qualify as a Registered General Nurse. Having had three children she decided on a change of career and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Susan joined Whitaker Firth in 2003.
Susan’s areas of specialist expertise include Wills, Trust, Estate Administration and Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Care Home Fees and NHS Funded care.
In 2008 Susan become the first solicitor in Bradford to qualify as a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly and is a now a fully accredited member. She is a member of the Law Society’s Probate Section.
Susan also give talks to groups for which no charge is made.
Alexandra is a solicitor in our Private Client Department at the firm’s Guiseley office, having qualified in July 2016. Alexandra became a partner in 2017.
Having initially obtained a BA (Hons) degree in History, Alexandra joined the firm in 2011 to pursue a career in law.
Alexandra specialises in Wills and Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration. She also advises clients on Court of Protection matters and elderly clients on matters such as Nursing Home fees.
Erin is a solicitor in our Private Client Department at the firm’s Bradford office. She qualified in October 2013 after completing her training with a well-known high street firm in Leeds. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Erin gained experience at law firms in Yorkshire and London dealing with Liquor Licensing, Mortgage Repossessions, Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing before specialising in Private Client matters.
Erin’s areas of expertise include Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.
Erin is an Associate Member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Sara qualified as a Solicitor with a major Leeds firm in 1991 and has specialised in all aspects of family law with an emphasis on resolving financial matters. Her work includes divorce, co-habitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, Children Act work, non-molestation orders and occupation orders.
Sara runs the firm’s family division from the firm’s Guiseley office.
Antonia has been qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive since 2008 having trained and qualified with a top Legal 500 law firm in Leeds. Antonia has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of residential property law. Antonia joined Whitaker Firth in 2016 and runs the property division in the firms Guiseley office.

Shelly began working in Conveyancing at the tender age of 17, and has been qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive since 2008. Shelly has amassed extensive technical knowledge over the years and handles all aspects of freehold and leasehold residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, new build sales and purchases, transfers of equity and shared ownership matters.
Naheed deals with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing work which includes Freehold and Leasehold transactions, as well as more specialised transactions such as shared ownership and new build properties including Help to Buy and other affordable housing schemes. With over 13 years experience Naheed has a sound technical knowledge and can advise clients in relation to most complex title queries.
